Chinatown 0824
Brought friends and students out for a walk around Chinatown.
It’s always interesting to see how different we see the same things. We could be standing along the same street, looking at the same buildings and people, yet somehow come home with completely different photographs. The nice bit is also when we discover what catches someone else's attention, especially when it's something I might have walked straight past.
Along the way, I’ll visit some merchant friends in the area… looking at their wares and listening to new stories of the tourists that patronise. I suppose that's one of the things I hope to do more often with Pentaprism. Bringing people together to enjoy photography, share what interests them and perhaps discover stories along the way.
